In the Rostov region, a case of cemetery vandalism motivated by hatred was brought to court
The Azov interdistrict prosecutor's office (Rostov region) sent to court a criminal case against Boris Burlak, accused under paragraph "b" of part 2 of Art. 244 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (desecration of burial places based on political, ideological, racial, national or religious hatred). According to the investigation, on February 14, 2010, the defendant, being drunk, broke 33 tombstones at the city cemetery of Azov.
