Cemetery vandal sentenced in Tyumen
On September 20, 2010, the world court in the Tyumen region sentenced to 2 years and 10 months in prison for previously convicted 22-year-old Vladimir Hergert. He was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 244 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (damage to gravestones structures). The court found that on April 18, 2010, the defendant, returning drunk home through the cemetery, broke 17 grave crosses.
