Criminal cases have been opened against a Muslim who prevented an attempt to disrupt a service in a Moscow mosque.
October 22, 2010 during prayer, a woman drove up to the Historical Mosque of Moscow in a foreign car and became offend praying Muslims. Together with a friend, she walked in shoes on prayer mats, shouting: "Pray at home," "You you won't pray here anymore," and used foul language. A woman, who introduced herself as Elena Nikandrova, an assistant to State Duma deputy Valery Yazev, assured that the parishioners of the mosque do not give the opportunity to leave the yard.
