Human rights activists defended evangelical principles
On May 11, 2011, the Trud newspaper published an interview with Archpriest Dmitry Smirnov, dedicated to the problem of drug addiction in Russian society. In a conversation with reporters, the priest proposed developing a program for the destruction of drugs in the fields and not limiting ourselves to testing “all citizens without exception” for drugs. In his opinion, it is necessary to resort to repressive methods - drug addicts are isolated from society, and drug dealers are sent to hard labor.
