In the Stavropol region, a mandatory uniform has been introduced for schoolchildren, excluding any hint of religiosity or belonging to a subculture
Since December 20, 2012, schools in the Stavropol Territory have introduced uniforms. The decree of the regional ministry states that “clothing must be of a classic design - girls without a low waist, without cleavage and open navels,” and it is allowed to wear jumpers, sweaters and pullovers in the cold season, but trousers are prohibited. Demonstration of religious affiliation and the use of symbols of youth subcultures are not permitted.
