On February 12, 2017, a religious procession took place in St. Petersburg around St. Isaac's Cathedral, which was attended by State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov. In his speech after the procession, he, according to media reports, criticized the opponents of the transfer of St. Isaac's Cathedral to the Russian Orthodox Church. At the same time, in an anti-Semitic context, he mentioned the deputies Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, opposing the transfer.
