The church is categorically against the image on the sewer manholes in Moscow of George the Victorious. On July 3, 2020, it became known that in an interview with journalists, Fr. Leonid Kalinin, head of the Russian Orthodox Church's expert council on art, said that the Church is categorically against the depiction of St. George the Victorious (the Moscow coat of arms) on sewer manholes in Moscow.
