The prosecutor demands that two Jehovah's Witnesses from Primorye be sentenced to real terms
Believers are accused of chch. 1.1 and 2 Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code. On June 8, 2021, during a debate in the Pozharsky District Court of the Primorsky Territory, the prosecutor demanded that Jehovah’s Witnesses Yuri Belosludtsev and Sergey Sergeyev be sentenced to five and a half and five years in prison, respectively. Belosludtsev and Sergeev are charged with CC. 1.1 and 2 Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code (recruitment to and participation in an extremist organization).
