Security forces check the documents of those who come to Friday prayers in mosques in Moscow and the Moscow region. Several believers were detained. A 41-year-old local resident was found guilty of inciting hatred. On August 18, 2021, it became known that in North Ossetia, a court found a previously convicted 41-year-old resident of Vladikavkaz guilty under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting ethnic hatred) and sentenced him to two years in prison.

The arbitration court decided that Roskomnadzor has every right to block materials, even if the exact references to them are not specified in the requirement of the Prosecutor General's Office.

In Sochi, under Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code detained Jehovah's Witness Danil Suvorov. 23 Twitter users dispute the legality of its slowdown.
