On May 22, 2024, the Omsk Regional Court granted the claim of the regional department of the Ministry of Justice to liquidate the local Greek Catholic parish of the Intercession of the Holy Mother of God, whose minister is accused under two articles of the Criminal Code. The reason for the liquidation was some gross violations of federal law.
