Levada: 51% of Russians believe that Putin’s social support is the security forces and oligarchs
Most Russians believe that Russian President Vladimir Putin expresses the interests of security officials, oligarchs, officials and executives of large companies. Levada Center reports this with reference to the results of the survey. According to 51% of respondents, Putin’s social support is “siloviki: employees of the special services, the army, the Ministry of Internal Affairs”, as well as “oligarchs, bankers and large entrepreneurs” (34%). Respondents could select more than one answer.
