The Pension Fund of Russia (PFR) is launching a technology for automatically identifying citizens who live below the poverty line, RIA Novosti reports . It will be tested in eight regions and, if successful, expanded throughout the country. The experiment will take place in eight constituent entities of the Russian Federation: Kabardino-Balkaria, Tatarstan, Primorsky Krai, Ivanovo, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novgorod and Tomsk regions. How exactly the new technology works is not reported.
