Imports of palm oil into Russia decreased for the first time in six years
In the first half of 2020, Russia imported almost 7% less palm oil than in the same period last year. The supply of this raw material decreased for the first time in the last six years, writes RBC. In January-June 2020, Russia imported only 473 thousand tons of palm oil, while in the first six months of last year - 506 thousand tons. At the end of 2019, palm oil imports to Russia reached a record 1.06 million tons. This is a very uncharacteristic dynamic, market experts say.
