Jens Stoltenberg will step down as NATO Secretary General to head Norway's central bank, the Norwegian Bank, according to a statement on the country's government website. It notes that Stoltenberg will leave his position in NATO at the end of September 2022, and the Norwegian Bank will head around December 1. The current head of the regulator, Øystein Olsen, will resign on March 1, and his deputy, Ida Walden Bache, will serve as interim governor until Stoltenberg takes over.
