Mass arrests, torture and harsh sentences for members of Hizb U-Tahrir: what did they guil?
On February 14, in Rostov-on-Don, the process began over six Crimean Tatars accused of participating in the Hizb Ut-Tahrir, an Islamic party recognized by a terrorist organization. None of the Yalta six has yet pleaded guilty. Some of them may threaten life imprisonment. Before the annexation of Crimea, the organization, officially registered in Ukraine, worked legally, and none of its members was involved in violent crimes.
