On the night of June 7, Russia struck with a drone the site of the Centralized Storage Facility for Spent Nuclear Fuel near the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, Energoatom, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine and President Vladimir Zelensky said. According to Energoatom, the container reception building, where spent nuclear fuel was not stored, was partially destroyed. The radiation background remains within normal limits, and there are no casualties.
