I was terribly lucky with the profession: I am not a taster. Would be a taster - he would have flown out of work after a couple of sessions of radio therapy. The fact is that the irradiation of the neck changes, if not - kills, taste receptors. Then, a week or two after the end of the course, they should recover. But in this last week of therapy it hurts me to swallow, sneeze, painfully yawning and generally live a little disgusting.

My mother and spouse are trying to find at least some products that will not taste Vatu to the taste. So far, two good luck is buckwheat with milk and Miso-Sup. Everything else has a strikingly identical nasty taste. At first glance, it seems a trifle, but in practice it is a terrible torture. This is a psychological torture. As if you had taken away something familiar from childhood and what you cherished.

Of course, I am not a taster. But I loved to eat at least banal pasta with cheese. Now they are not for me. I understand that I can hardly explain how it is. This is not fatal, not all this hurts - namely what is disgusting. It is disgusting because they selected, destroyed, albeit gastronomic, but love.

Here is the whole disease - she also gradually selects some things that you love.

But the main thing is that all this can be returned. This is not total destruction, it is a positional protracted and difficult struggle. In this struggle, I conquered my vision, won the opportunity to walk without supports. So, two more sessions of radiotherapy - and we will fight for the "taste for life." And if everything goes successfully with transplantation, then the sea with the oceans can return. We must fight for the fact that you love. Even in such everyday terms.

Probably, it will be correct to say that it is such love, in the totality of all its manifestations, and is called love of life. Therefore, without lowering hands, every time the disease takes something expensive, you need to fight to the last, look for all possible ways, but overcome the problem.

Fear with loss is not easy to win. But you can. The memory of past victories is an excellent assistant in this matter.
