Cancer is not only a disease. Cancer is also a lot of important lessons, including life ones. I have always been able to control myself well and be calm in critical situations. Cancer taught me to listen to the most unpleasant diagnoses and not to panic. For example, on Wednesday I once again met with the attending doctor. We quite cheerfully walked through my current state, discussed that not everything is so bad with me. To cheer me up, the doctor said: “If serious problems arise after bone marrow transplantation, then patients, as a rule, do not live long, and with problems in the central nervous system, if they grow systemically, a person can die in just a week. And you still have problems only in the face. “Only in the face” - this is one eye that does not see at all, and the second one sees if the font is enlarged as much as possible. And my vision is somehow spherical, and it changes during the day depending on the moisture in the eye. Of course, I drip drops and do everything that the ophthalmologist prescribed for me, but this does not really solve the problem. And it is that if I can’t read, then I can’t write, and I try to keep myself in working condition - in the end, my idea of \u200b\u200blife is connected with this, with work. But it didn't work for two days. The fact is that, having received an “encouraging” diagnosis from the attending physician, we went - in the sense that I am in a wheelchair, and Masha is taking me - to all sorts of tests. And then I felt that I should lie down for a long time. Masha asked me to do the blood transfusion necessary according to the plan in the supine position. In the process of transportation, they lifted me from the stroller, but did not hold me back, I collapsed back very quickly. Intracranial pressure hit my head, I felt really hellish pain and lost consciousness. I woke up after a few seconds. And I realized that my doctor was already in the room, even the medical staff and everyone was discussing terrible convulsions and a terrible headache. Cramps are, of course, unhealthy, which means that problems in the central nervous system began to affect the muscles of the arms and legs.
But there is good news: here in New York, but in a different clinic, there are two clinical trials that I can apply for - this issue will be resolved within a couple of weeks.
Another piece of good news is that I have almost completed a draft document on an ambulance for Deputy Prime Minister Golodets: now I am collecting amendments and proposals on LiveJournal. The project contains a complete solution, it has been tested in some regions and does not require additional money from the budget. I think that in a week I will be able to send it to Golodets and publish it in my LiveJournal. Another positive - after three days of insomnia, the doctors finally picked up a pill that allowed me to fall asleep. But because of these same pills, I want to sleep all the time now. And I don't want to live half asleep. I have a lot of work that needs to be done, a lot of problems that need to be solved - I absolutely don’t want to lie on the bed and I’m not going to.
These are my adventures. True, I would prefer others to such adventures - jumping with a parachute or conquering Everest :-)
