The case of the "network" was associated with torture from the very beginning. The criminal case itself became known in January 2018, when two anti-fascists, Viktor Filinkov and Igor Shishkin disappeared in St. Petersburg. Filinkov later described in detail how the FSB officers detained him and tortured him with a stunel-cooperator in a minibus, demanding that he was a member of the “Network” terrorist community along with his friends from Penza-they were arrested in the fall of 2017. The arrested themselves said that the FSB considered their joint games in the forest in the forest, hiking to nature and meetings with the discussion of the left ideology and the political situation in Russia - and that their tortures and threats forced to sign recognition.
Igor Shishkin did not talk about torture, he preferred to admit guilt and agree with the version of the investigation in everything - he received only 3.5 years of the colony (this is a little compared to other defendants). At the same time, after a multi -hour interrogation to the FSB, doctors diagnosed him with a fracture of the lower walls of the eye socket, numerous hematomas and abrasions, and the members of the public observation commission visited Shishkin in the pre -trial detention center on the body of numerous traces similar to burns from electric wires.
Even witnesses were told about torture: the Penza described how the FSB officers beat them, and Ilya Kapustin spoke Petersburger about the toce toe in the special services minibus. The Investigative Committee of Russia refused to investigate all these cases of torture: for example, in the case of Filinkov, the investigator decided that the FSB officers beat him legally, and the traces on Kapustin’s body were not left from the shocker - from the bite of the bugs .
In St. Petersburg, the trial of Viktor Filinkov and another accused Julius Boyarshinov (hetold how he was beaten in a Press hut) was not finished yet-he must resume in late February after a multi-month break. In Penza, on February 10, 2020, the military court sentenced: all the accused are guilty, everyone was appointed exactly the terms that the prosecutor demanded - from six to 18 years of imprisonment.
This is what the convicts talked about the methods of investigators in this case.
Dmitry Pchelintsev. The pins - 18 years in a maximum security colony
“One of them had hands in white medical, rubber gloves, he took out a dynamo machine and put it on the table, cleaned two wires with a clerical knife, told me to protrude his thumb. The other touched my pulse with his hand on my neck, in the future he did it more than once, he controlled my condition. He was surprised that the pulse is calm and I have no excitement - this was because I did not understand what was happening at first.
Then [man] in gloves began to twist the handle of “dynamo-machines”. The current went to the knees, my caviar muscles began to contract at my feet, I was seized with paralytic pain, I began to scream, began to beat my back and head against the wall, between the bare body and the stone wall, they put the jacket. All this lasted about 10 seconds, but during torture it seemed to me an eternity. <...> They began to repeat: “You are a leader”. So that they stop torture, I replied: “Yes, I'm a leader.” “You were going to arrange terrorist acts.” I answered: “Yes, we were going to arrange terrorist acts.”
This story about the first days after the arrest-and the defendants in this case, according to them, were tortured by the FSB directly to the pre-trial detention center-Dmitry Pchelintsev handed the lawyer in early February 2018, six months after the arrest. Already on February 14, he abandoned his words-as it turned out later, because of new torture. Pchelintsev recalled :
“My socks were removed from me, pants and panties were pulled to my knees. A tightly adjacent dump is put on their heads and fastened under the chin. The convoy wrapped the thumbs of my legs with wires. They tried to put the gag in my mouth, but I did not open it, because the gag was wrapped with tape. Last time, a lot of teeth got stuck from the gag. In the process of struggle, we hardly spoke. When they stopped hitting me in the face and in the stomach, they hit me with the current. ”
“The contact is bad, it beats weakly,” their words retold their words. “I was told after a pair of shocks by current:“ You return the testimony, you say, about the torture, you will do it. You will do it, as the investigator will say. They show it to white, they say it is a shallow - you say it. They cut off your finger and say you eat it. ” Then they hit several times with electric shock to remember. ”
More about torture and how after them he, along with the FSB officers, composed his confession, Dmitry Pchelintsev spoke in his speech in court.
Ilya Shakursky. The pins - 16 years in a maximum security colony
In court, Shakursky recalled how, after the detention, the FSB officer Vyacheslav Shepelev told him: “Do not wait for us to play honestly with you.” It was Shepelev, according to Shakursky, who took part in his torture in a pre -trial detention center:
“Three people in masks entered the camera, in camouflage form“ cartoons ”, and white gloves are rubber. They were in masks, I did not recognize them, after which I recognized one - it was Vyacheslav Shepelev, because I often met with him in the FSB building and heard his voice. I was told to go to the wall near the window and look only at the wall, not to look at them. I followed these orders, because until the last I generally hoped that nothing would happen and again there would simply be pressure and intimidation. Then I was told to undress.
Here I was so frightened that I had the first thought that I was just with me now ... I will never leave this camera anymore. I undressed, after which they told me to tilt my head down and sit on the bench. I sat down, my eyes blindfolded me with some kind of fabric, I was in my underpants, my hands were tied up behind me. <...> I started to supply current. That is, it was several times, maybe five. And at this time I asked such questions. After which it was explained to me that “why are you jubbing on interrogations”, that is, there were such moments when the investigator Tokarev said something to me, and I said: “No, let's write down another way better,” and the investigator Tokarev did not like it. And from here I just concluded that investigator Tokarev knew about the torture that took place with me on November 3.
After that, Vyacheslav Shepelev, who held me during the flow of current, because the pain was so unbearable that my legs were trembling and I constantly fell from the bench ... and he held me. Sometimes he beat me on the legs, because my leg was shaking very much - I do not know what, from the flow of current or from fear. And he took off my panties, threatening that he would rape me at all. If I continue to “bustle”, or to burn someone, or try to save someone, as he explained, that is, they can come at any time and ... Apparently, they did this so that I realized that they could really go into a pre-trial detention center and do everything they want with me. ”

Andrey Chernov. Sentence - 14 years in a maximum security colony
Chernova, according to him, was not tortured with electricity, like Pchelintsev and Shakursky, but also beaten and intimidated. He told in court:
“The FSB officers brought me out of the workshop and put me in the car. I was detained by the operative Shepelev and two special forces. Shepelev sat in the front seat with the driver, special forces - behind on the sides of me. Even before they left the factory, as soon as the door slammed, they began to strike. They hit the face a couple of times. Without embarrassment, they beat in the stomach, elbows on the back and on the head on top. This continued all the way. <...> I did not understand what was happening, I said that I needed a lawyer. Shepelev threatened the whole way that "his brother would be imprisoned, all relatives would be fired, their fingers would be cut off." He said: “Your life is over, you will die at all.” <...> At first I did not understand where they brought me. Later, when I went to get acquainted, I realized that this is the FSB building. I was brought inside, the special forces now and then beat their feet, from time to time. They brought into the room where the cells, there was a bee. In this state, I have not seen him before, he was very scared, on his left side he had abrasion or bump on his face. We were not allowed to talk to us. The only thing the Bee managed to say: “You can not even try to endure it, you cannot”. ”
Maxim Ivankin and Mikhail Kulkov. Sentences - 13 and 10 years in a maximum security colony
Neither Kulkov nor Ivankin talked about torture-they left Penza, and both were detained in Moscow only in the summer of 2018 (although all the Penza arrests fell on October-November 2017). The fact that both were tortured before the initiation of the “terrorist community” was told by a friend Alexei Poltavets (he left for Ukraine) - according to him, this happened at the end of March 2017, when Kulkov and Ivankin were detained on suspicion of spreading drugs through the bookmarks.
It was because of these accusations that they then fled from Penza, the guilt of this article, unlike accusations of terrorism, admit both Kulkov and Ivankin. Poltavets, who was then detained with them, so remembered the police department:
“I was very stronger: for the first time I tried before I was tightened by a bag, hold my breath and remain calm, as if I were diving; But quickly it began to lack air, and panic began. When the package was removed from me, I began to cough and said: “Enough, enough to mock.” In response to this, they put on me a package, although I did not even have time to cope from the previous time. For the third time [an employee named] Nikolai held a bag even longer. After he took off the package, they again asked me the question whether I will sign the testimony and the cooperation agreement. I replied: “Stop torturing me. You are twice as older than me, I'm handcuffs, how can you do that?” To which they answered me: “But you can’t do it differently with you,” and again put on a bag. I experienced an unbearable feeling of lack of air, panic and fear.
They repeated such “procedures” about five to seven times, after which they took off my bag for a few seconds and put on again, and kept even longer, which made me urinate slightly involuntarily. After that, Nikolai took off the package, all the employees were very angry, the question was repeated to me, I did not answer. After that, Mikhail, who was sitting all this time and watching torture, said: “Take a soldering iron, and you will agree to everything,” and Ilya began to look for a soldering iron. Mikhail opened the door to the next office and shouted: “Bring me a soldering iron,” after which he left the office. At this time, Nikolai said: “Right now I will take that mop and put it in your ass, and you will agree with everything, you will not want to live after that. Do you want it?” I said: “No, do not.” At that moment, Michael came in, called Nikolai, they left the office and talked about something, but what exactly was not heard about. After which Mikhail came in and said: “You are lucky for now, your friends turned out to be more accommodating to you, but your behavior here will still respond to you.”

Vasily Kuksov. Verdict - nine years in a general regime colony
During the announcement of the verdict, the Kuksov was in a medical mask - in a pre -trial detention center he was diagnosed with an open form of tuberculosis, but he was still taken in the same car Zaka with the rest of the accused and placed them in one “aquarium” in the courtroom. He recalled his detention during the process:
“There was a working weekday. I arrived after work home on a minibus. I went to the store, bought milk with a bun. Near the entrance there was a man in civilian clothes. He was with a phone in his hand or with a photograph and checked me with the image. Then I see - three people run on me in camouflage form, in masks and with machine guns. They knocked down, struck on the case, in the stomach and in the nose - the blood immediately poured. They sang a hood on my head, dragged Patriot into UAZ. I remember shouting: “People, help!” I thought it was a dream or a draw. On the way, they beat me into the spine and said: “You hit, your life is over.” <...> I was brought to some building, led up the stairs. I took the first step into the office and got a blow to the solar plexus. I hear someone says: “Quietly, quietly, overwhelmed”. Then they put me on the floor face down and inflicted sharp blows with an iron object near my ear. They said: “You have to live in and so half an hour left. If you answer questions, then an hour and a half.” They called some names, I guessed only Zorin and Shakursky of all. At this moment, a blood puddle has already formed. They wanted to cut off my finger, they already put my hand, but did not cut off. And only then they told me: “You are in the FSB, Vasily. You are accused of terrorism.”
Arman Sagynbaev. The verdict - six years in a general regime colony
Sagynbaeva HIV. Later, other accused refused confessions and only in September 2018 allowed lawyers to publish his story about torture. Sagynbaev recalled how he was detained in St. Petersburg, and after the search he was put in a burgundy minibus (he would be taken to Penza later):
“While we were driving, I saw through the fabric of the bag that a man with a tattoo“ For the Airborne Forces ”, which had beaten me before, took a box from under his chair (seats), the body of which was brown. There were two of some switches on the box body, which-I can’t say, perhaps these were current power regulators. Two wires came out of the box, which was attached to me to the thumbs. I was told that they will now check whether there is current or not. After that, it became insanely painful for me, I realized that the current discharges began to pass through me. Along with this, people in the car began to ask me various questions, including names and names of people unknown to me, and if I said that I did not know them, I received the category of electric current. ”
