They arranged a dark
The authorities have found a new way to deal with unwanted political forces. Employees of the Department for Combating Organized Crime burst into the NBP headquarters, gathered the National Bolsheviks in one of the rooms of the headquarters and turned off the lights. “The NBP activists had their passports checked, but since their documents were all in order, the police took them away under the pretext of checking whether Limonov’s members were wanted,” said party lawyer Dmitry Agranovsky.

Belgorod residents come to their senses
The star from the monument will disappear, and it will be unveiled not in Belgorod, as planned, but in one of the remote villages. Stating that they adhere to a policy aimed at “preventing any manifestations of extremism,” the Belgorod authorities decided to distance themselves as much as possible from the scandal.

Running in place
On the next Sunday, we have a fascinating sight - parliamentary elections in Chechnya. But do not be scared, you don’t have to go for yourself, everything will be with delivery to the house: they will show and tell you how good it was. From campaigning events, a furor was made by Mike Tyson's visit to Ramzan Kadyrov. I decided in a sinful thing that boxing was served instead of rock: it is easier and safer to bring and take one T-shirt than an horde with equipment.

From words to deeds
A correspondent for the Caucasian Knot website learned about this from unofficial sources. The letter cites facts of violation of the rights of believers by law enforcement agencies even before the events of October 13 - illegal detentions, beatings, closure of mosques. The letter was sent to the dean of the Orthodox churches of Kabardino-Balkaria, Valentin Bobylev.

Not by bread alone
According to Viktor Shenderovich’s observations, the director appears on television more often than is permissible. In addition, his new film “Not by Bread Alone” is released today. “Only recorded and documented evidence of violation of the law significantly exceeds the extent allowed by law,” Shenderovich said. “In connection with Govorukhin’s appearance in Posner’s program, I look forward to inviting me and 10 other candidates to this program next Sunday.”

In a known direction
In early November, the former prime minister announced his readiness to participate in new presidential elections. And today Mikhail Kasyanov is taking the first steps towards his stated goal. As Moskovsky Komsomolets writes, as early as December of this year he could lead the Democratic Party, which was popular in the late 80s and is now being revived.

Knowledge from above
The Ministry of Education is preparing a bill according to which university rectors will no longer be chosen by employees of universities and institutes, but will be appointed by the ministry. The innovation is based on the administrative model that has been tested since this year for the appointment of governors.

Voice in defense
In October, the Moscow government canceled the decision to allocate land for a Hare Krishna temple “due to violations... when making the decision on construction.” In fact, this is pure deceit, and the mayor's office reversed its decision, frightened by the violent campaign launched by radical Orthodox organizations.

Don't express yourself
The Moscow City Duma today approved the “Deputy Code of Ethics.” Among the parliamentary taboos is the use of obscene language. The document, in particular, provides that when an act is committed that “disgraces the honor and dignity of a deputy and undermines the authority of the Duma,” the ethics commission has the right to inform the press and voters about the deputy’s unworthy behavior.

Profit from tragedy
For the first time during the trial of the hostage-taking case on Dubrovka, the prosecutor's office admitted the facts of looting by officials. The court ruled that one of the investigators involved in issuing items to victims of the terrorist attack embezzled money that belonged to the deceased Maxim Mikhailov. No criminal case will be initiated, since the person involved in the investigation recently died in a car accident.
