What happened on Saturday in Moscow is a pathetic, evil parody of what in Europe is commonly called a gay pride parade. A bunch of unfortunate gay activists who dared to leave the house were attacked by a huge crowd of neo-Nazis and Orthodox radicals, and to boot, the police, the gays themselves were nowhere to be seen. Among the victims is German parliament member Volker Beck. On this occasion, the Bundestag adopted a statement calling on the Russian authorities to respect human rights.

Recently Luzhkov said that it is time to unite Moscow and the Moscow region, saying that in essence they are already a single whole. An ordinary person cannot understand this general passion for “large forms” - after all, something small is always easier to manage, and Moscow is an immense colossus, where is the region. But the most offended was the governor of the Moscow region, Boris Gromov (after all, if they unite, he may be left without a position).

Thank God that I am absolutely that same average Russian. Because for anyone who is somehow different from us, life in Russia is bad. And besides, it’s dangerous. We live in a particularly dense country. Therefore, there is no particular point in being outraged by the carnage that the capital’s gay pride parade has turned into.

Every day in Russia, 5 thousand abortions are performed legally, meanwhile, as the organizers of the action remind, the demographic situation in the country is catastrophic. Recently, Orthodox Christians are increasingly trying to express their views by organizing high-profile and, often, scandalous events. Some of them just took part in beating up gays. But it is unlikely that such Orthodoxy with its fists is capable of convincing anyone.

The State Duma is considering whether to abolish voting “against all” in the Duma elections. It must be said that in the ranks of United Russia themselves, for whom all this, apparently, is being done, the initiative caused confusion. Of course, protest voting spoils the picture, and the elections can be disrupted. On the other hand, protest voices may go to the opposition.
