Depicted a man resembling Christ
On May 22, the head of the Department of Contemporary Trends at the State Tretyakov Gallery, Andrei Erofeev, was charged under the notorious Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. He is accused of inciting religious hatred - humiliating Christians, “especially Orthodox Christians.” Erofeev was given a written undertaking not to leave the place. “We don’t usually do this, but here, you understand, this is a political matter,” the investigator told him.
