Sex minorities: The fourth attempt
In society Sex minorities: The fourth attempt May 18, 2009 Alexander Podrabinek Moscow gay parades have a short story. The first time they tried to spend such a parade in Moscow in May 2006. The city hall forbade the parade, but activists of the motion of sex minorities ignored the ban, referring to their constitutional rights.

The fate of the architectural party
Disputes about how many chairmen “Right Cause” should have – three or one – do not answer the main question: how can a party of an architectural type, that is, constructed from above, and not organically developed from below, count on any decent electoral result in conditions when this is already the third similar project of the Russian government. Moreover, the first (“United Russia”) is the main one for the Kremlin, and the second (“Socialist Revolutionaries”) is secondary.

The crisis of the genre
And right - a crisis. Not one of me, by the way. The people are cattle. I hear from the cattle, and the people are holy, you are unworthy of washing your legs. We must "do something." There is nothing to do. In such substantial disputes, the “opposition intelligentsia” spends time. Often these are disputes - with oneself, i.e. A person alternately (or even at the same time!) adheres to both points of view.

Very solid vertical
In society Very solid vertical May 18, 2009 Julia Latynina Moscow mayor Yuri Luzhkov banned the gay parade in honor of Eurovision, and the brave cops were scrapping on Saturday of attackers, dressed as a groom and bride, on the Sparrow Hills. In fact, a gay parade during Eurovision is carried out right on the stage of Eurovision itself, but I'm not talking about that. At the sight of measures taken by Luzhkov, we must think that Russia is a Puritan country. Not like a corrupted West. Alas.

Judges of the future
The highest, as it were, voting government officials, led by the unchanged Boris Gryzlov, hastened to declare that with their vote, they, of course, would support President Medvedev’s initiative to change the procedure for appointing the chairman of the Constitutional Court.
