The flood washed away several bridges in the Urals
In two villages in the Kurgan region, bridges were washed away due to floods. This was announced by local governor Vadim Shumkov. He warned area residents about a “very difficult situation with rising water.” One wooden bridge collapsed in the village of Temlyakovo. According to Shumkov, the structure is being carried by the current towards Kurgan. “This creates a risk of congestion,” the governor added. The second, pontoon bridge, was torn down by the current in the village of Lapteva.
