A resident of Novosibirsk received a 2.2-year suspended sentence for killing his girlfriend's dog out of jealousy.
The Novosibirsk District Court found 26-year-old local resident Artem Danilov guilty of killing his girlfriend's dog out of jealousy, the regional prosecutor's office reports . The court found that in June 2016, Danilov, while intoxicated, became jealous of his girlfriend for another. He climbed onto the roof of her car and began jumping on it, after which he doused the car with gasoline and, holding a lighter in his hands, began threatening to set it on fire.
