Lithuanian authorities denied Russian journalist Yevgeny Titov political asylum
Russian journalist Yevgeny Titov, who left Russia in 2016 due to threats, was denied political asylum in Lithuania, reports Radio Liberty , citing Titov himself. According to the publication, the decision to refuse was made by the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Lithuania, and it was confirmed by the Vilnius District Court. The journalist filed an appeal to the Supreme Court of Lithuania. If he refuses, he will be deported to Russia.
