In French Guiana, at the Kourou cosmodrome, as part of the dismantling work, the launch pad, which was previously used to launch Russian Soyuz rockets, was blown up. The footage was published by the Closed Space telegram channel. Soyuz rockets have been launched from the Kourou cosmodrome since 2011, with a total of 27 launches. Russian rockets launched European and American satellites into orbit. The launches stopped after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
