UN: Due to the conflict in the east of Ukraine, at least 415,800 people left their homes
At least 415,800 people were forced to leave their homes as a result of military operations between government forces and separatists in the east of Ukraine, Global Post reports with reference to the Office of the UN Supreme Commissioner for UN Refugees. According to the latest estimates of the UVKB, at least 190 thousand people moved from the beginning of the conflict within Ukraine, while 197,400 people, fleeing the war, arrived in Russia.
