Russia and Iraq will resume direct flights for the first time since 2004
The Iraqi airline Iraqi Airways will make a direct flight to Moscow, which will be the beginning of the resumption of air traffic between the two countries, interrupted in 2004. It is reported by RIA Novosti. According to the agency, on September 17, a plane with an Iraqi delegation headed by Minister of Transport Kazem Hamami will land in Vnukovo. The fact that Russia and Iraq will resume direct flights became known back in 2015.
