One of those detained on December 30 was fined one thousand rubles
The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow, represented by judge Alesya Orekhova, sentenced Ruslan Samarin, one of those detained on December 30 at Manezhnaya Square during a gathering in support of Oleg and Alexei Navalny, to a fine of a thousand rubles. Thus, Samarin was found guilty of disobeying the lawful demand of police officers, reports Mediazona .

The Navalny brothers' defense appealed the verdict
Lawyers for Oleg and Alexei Navalny, who were sentenced by the Zamoskvoretsky District Court of Moscow to three and a half years of real and suspended sentences, respectively, received a full copy of the verdict and filed a brief complaint against it. January 12 is the last day to file a complaint (a more complete version can be filed later). As Alexei Navalny's lawyer Vadim Kobzev, quoted by Interfax, explained, the brief version of the complaint indicates procedural violations.

The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow, where the administrative cases of the detainees on December 30 are to be considered, refused to hold hearings on the cases of the detainees taken to the Arbat police station.
