According to RIA Novosti, citing an unnamed source in law enforcement agencies, on January 11, the police began checking for signs of an administrative offense under Article 20.2. The police appealed against the decision of the district court, which acquitted Viktor Rau, a participant in a one-man picket for the return of the mayoral elections held in Barnaul on 24 September.
