On February 10, Moscow City Court Judge Zoya Zadorozhnaya refused the prosecutor to review the decisions in the case of Vladimir Podrezov, who was sentenced to two years and three months in prison in the case of painting a star on a high-rise building on Kotelnicheskaya Embankment in Moscow in the colors of the Ukrainian flag, and then released in December 2015 following the results of appeals (the real term was replaced by restriction of freedom).

On February 14, at the Troebortnoye checkpoint on the border with Ukraine, police and riot police detained several truck drivers involved in blocking trucks with Ukrainian numbers in response to similar measures in Ukraine. Vera Shulkova, a resident of Saratov, who left a letter on the website of the President of the Russian Federation about corruption ties of the deputy of the regional Duma Sergei Kurikhin, has been charged with libel. According to the Saratov online publication Public Opinion on February 15, the case was initiated after the statement of Deputy Kurikhin on December 31, 2015, but Shulkova was only informed about it on February 10, without naming her procedural status.

On February 15, Judge Moskalenko of the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow found Yelena Zakharova, a participant in the March of Change on Constitution Day on December 12, guilty of violating the procedure for holding a public event (under the fifth part of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) and fined her 20,000 rubles. In the center of Krasnodar, residents are prohibited from hanging protest posters on their balconies, according to the Environmental Watch for the North Caucasus. Local authorities began cutting down trees along the Rostov highway in order to expand it, which caused protests from local residents. One of the forms of protest was hanging posters against logging from the balconies of houses.
