A court in Tatarstan overturned a fine for participating in a rally in honor of the annexation of Crimea
On February 8, the Supreme Court of Tatarstan overturned the decision of the Vakhitovsky District Court of Kazan, which at the end of 2015 imposed a fine of 10,000 rubles on the head of the Russian Culture Society, Mikhail Shcheglov, under Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (violation by a participant in a public event of the established procedure for holding a meeting, rally, demonstration, processions or pickets).
