The victim himself went to the emergency room, where he was diagnosed with a fracture of the right cheekbone, bruising of the brow and hemorrhage in the right eye . According to the victim (who, according to some reports, was in a state of intoxication), he was attacked by several people who, after beating him, fled.

The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has developed the concept of the draft law "On the transfer of religious property to religious organizations." The document provides for the vesting of religious organizations with the right of ownership to buildings and land plots, which are currently in their free use, but belong to the state. On January 25, 2006, it became known that Alexander Aratov, editor-in-chief of the anti-Semitic newspaper Russkaya Pravda, who was running for the State Duma in the 196th single-mandate constituency, withdrew his candidacy in favor of Colonel Kvachkov. The administration of the Leninsky district of Tyumen issued an order to demolish the existing mosque in the village of Matmassy. Residents of the village began collecting signatures in defense of the mosque, built 4 years ago without the permission of the authorities. The believers hoped to eventually get permission to use the land plot under the mosque, but they were denied the allocation of this plot. An appeal with signatures will be sent to Tyumen Mayor Sergey Smetanyuk.

On January 24, 2005, the trial of the editor of the national-patriotic newspaper "Alex-Inform" Oleg Kitter, accused under Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("incitement of national hatred"). The criminal case against Kitter was initiated by the prosecutor's office of Samara on April 30, 2003. The basis was anti-Semitic and anti-Caucasian publications for his authorship in the newspaper "Alex-Inform" for the period from March 1999 to November 2002.
