Jurors in Vietnamese student murder case recuse themselves
On March 28, 2006, an attempt was made in St. Petersburg to select a jury for the trial of the murder of Vietnamese student Vu Anh Tuan. However, out of 64 jurors, the vast majority recused themselves. As a result, the required staff of 18 people (12 main and 6 spares) could not be recruited. On April 18, 2006 in the City Court of St. Petersburg, on the second attempt, the selection of a jury for the trial of the case took place.
