The head of the Argayash district of the Chelyabinsk region, Israfil Valishin, forbade two local Muslim religious organizations operating under the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the European Part of Russia (DUMER) and the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Asian Part of Russia (DUMACHR), which is part of the Council of Muftis of Russia, to hold an action "Life without alcohol, tobacco and drugs," the Russian Islamic Heritage organization reported on April 22.
