This area is the interrelation ofcountermeasures to hate speech on the Internet and defense of freedom ofexpression on the Internet.

On June 8, 2012, it became known that in the city of Chapaevsk, Samara Region, the limited liability company City Management Company was fined for failing to take measures to destroy Nazi symbols from the wall of a building belonging to the organization. On the facade of the house number 9 on Vatutina Street, Nazi symbols - the swastika - were depicted. The prosecutor's office of Chapaevsk made a submission to GUP LLC about the need to eliminate the violation.

On June 20, 2012, the Tagansky District Court of Moscow extended the term of arrest members of the punk band Pussy Riot Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Ekaterina Samutsevich and Maria Alekhina until July 24. On June 16, 2012, the exhibition "From Tajikistan with Love" opened in Yekaterinburg.
