On December 14, 2012, the prefecture of the Central District of Moscow, during a meeting, made a preliminary decision to transfer the Alexander Nevsky Church, part of the “Houses on Mayakovka” complex, to the Orthodox Church. Previously, parishioners complained that the owner of the building did not give them the opportunity to visit the temple and was going to sell the building. The final decision will be made later at the city level.
