Two years probation for xenophobic publications on social networks
In Samara, Dmitry Markin received a two-year suspended sentence for xenophobic posts on social networks. In June 2017, the Promyshlenny District Court of Samara sentenced Dmitry Markin. He was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting national hatred and enmity). The investigation and the court established that from November 8, 2013 to December 3, 2014, Markin posted "information aimed at inciting national hatred" on his personal page on the social network.
