A criminal case has been initiated under Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code. On April 2, 2021, it became known that 11 people were detained in the Omsk region, who, according to the investigation, are followers of the Tablighi Jamaat movement. Three of them became defendants in the case under CC. 1, 2 art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code (organization of the activities of an extremist organization and participation in it).

According to investigators, the 20-year-old young man was a supporter of the Ethnic National Association (ENO) and was thinking about a terrorist attack in a mosque. On April 2, 2021, the FSB reported that a 20-year-old supporter of the far-right Ethnic National Association (ENO) had been detained in Barnaul. He became a defendant in a criminal case under Art. 205.3 of the Criminal Code (undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities).

On March 31, 2021, it became known that in Nevinnomyssk The Orthodox Seminary filed a lawsuit against the mayor's office of the city, demanding to transfer into the ownership of the diocese the building on Socialist Street, occupied by the Orthodox gymnasium. Until 1917, the building also housed an Orthodox gymnasium. Consideration of the claim is scheduled for April 5.

Serey Smirnov brought to administrative responsibility under Part 2 of Art. 13.15 Administrative Code. On April 2, 2021 in Moscow, a justice of the peace under Part 2 of Art. 13.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (dissemination of information about an extremist organization without indicating that its activities are prohibited) fined Sergey Smirnov, editor-in-chief of Mediazona, for two thousand rubles.

April 1, 2021 updated Federal list of extremist materials. It has been added pp. 5160–5162. The list was supplemented by books of interpretations and commentaries on the Koran by Ibn Kathir and al-Saadi.
