The court in Votkinsk is starting to consider the case of two Jehovah's Witnesses charged under Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code. On September 1, 2021, the Votkinsky District Court of the Udmurt Republic received the case of Jehovah's Witnesses Sergey Gobozev and Mikhail Potapov. A criminal case has been initiated in the Kaluga region for posting materials on the Internet "promoting and justifying the activities of international terrorist organizations." In early September 2021, Sunatullo Radjabov, a native of Tajikistan, was detained in the Kaluga region, suspected of posting "materials promoting and justifying the activities of international terrorist organizations" on the Internet. He firmly admitted his guilt and confessed.
