The court pronounced a verdict on involvement in Hizb ut-Tahrir
Azat Lukmanov, a resident of Ufa, was sentenced to 11 years in prison. On December 21, 2021, the Central District Military Court sentenced Azat Lukmanov, a resident of Bashkortostan, to 11 years in prison in a strict regime colony under Part 2 of Art. 205.5 of the Criminal Code (participation in the activities of a terrorist organization), finding him guilty of involvement in the radical Islamic party Hizb ut-Tahrir, which is recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia.
