The ex-head of the Union of Ukrainians of Siberia was punished under Art. 20.3.2 of the Administrative Code for several tweets. On April 17, 2023, the Novosibirsk Regional Court upheld the punishment for activist Sergei Ivashchenko under Part 2 of Art. 20.3.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (public calls for separatism on the Internet). On December 12, 2022, the Leninsky District Court of Novosibirsk fined him 70,000 rubles.

On October 2, 2023, the Supreme Court of Komi sentenced Syktyvkar resident Vasily Zadorozhny to 100 hours of compulsory labor. He was found guilty under Part 3 of Art. 354.1 of the Criminal Code (desecration of symbols of Russia’s military glory, public insult to the memory of defenders of the Fatherland).

In total, in Russia, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on the night of April 15-16, temples were visited by 2.8 million people. 13 thousand services were held in 7.8 thousand settlements. In Moscow on the night of April 16, more than 600,000 people participated in divine services.
