Nikita Shamgunov is one of the best Russian programmers. In 2001, together with the team, he took bronze at the World Sports Programming Championship, and 10 years later he created the MemSQL database accelerator, which is used by Uber, Samsung, Cisco and Sony. Yuri Milner and Max Levchin invested in MemSQL, and its cost is estimated at $400 million.
