In the village of Cherkutino, Vladimir region, a monument was erected in honor of the reformer Mikhail Speransky, who was born there. The composition was created by sculptor Igor Chernoglazov - the monument reaches 5.5 meters in height. The governor of the Vladimir region, Alexander Avdeev, took part in the opening ceremony. This is the second monument to Mikhail Speransky in the Vladimir region: the first was installed in 2024 near the regional court building.
