Latvia is digging ditches and building fortifications on the border with Russia and Belarus
The Latvian military began to build the first defensive line about a kilometer from the Russian border, not far from the Terekhovo border checkpoint, reports the Latvian radio and television portal LSM. “Here we are digging an anti-tank ditch so that, if necessary, vehicles, including tanks, cannot pass along this road,” Lieutenant Colonel Kaspars Lazdins, an engineering inspector of the National Armed Forces of Latvia, told the portal.
