Detentions and searches in the houses of Jehovah's Witnesses in the Volgograd region
On March 31, 2010, two Jehovah's Witnesses were detained during a religious service in Novoanninsky, Volgograd Region. They were taken to the local police department, where the head of the criminal investigation department searched them and seized all the contents of their bags. Police officers took one of the girls to the apartment where both detainees live and conducted a search, during which they seized all religious literature, personal documents, belongings and money.
