Verkhovsky acted as one of the two speakers. In June 2010, the Nyagan City Court issued a guilty verdict for distributing racist materials. A 17-year-old teenager was found guilty of inciting ethnic hatred (Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). It should be reminded that the case against him was initiated because in January 2010 he posted xenophobic videos and a brochure on the Internet. The teenager was sentenced to 60 hours of corrective labor.

On June 22, 2010, the Kirov Regional Court considered the cassation the complaint of the neo-pagan Alexei Dobrovolsky (Dobroslav) against the guilty verdict Leninsky District Court of Kirov dated April 27. Recall that Dobroslav was convicted on charges of inciting racial and religious hatred (part 1 of article 282) and sentenced to 1 year of imprisonment conditional freedom. The court of second instance upheld this verdict.

In June 2010, in Yekaterinburg, a criminal case was initiated against four unemployed young people under Art. 282.1. Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (organization of an extremist community). They are accused of committing a series of crimes motivated by ethnic hatred from September 2009 to June 2010.

On May 26, the justice of the peace of the first judicial district of the Soviet District of Novosibirsk fined 2,000 rubles under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (distribution of extremist materials) I. Kondratiev for posting on the Internet the Hitler propaganda film "The Eternal Jew", which is on the Federal List of Extremist Materials (clause 5) . I. Kondratiev did not agree with the verdict and appealed against it.

In June 2010, the SOVA Center received statistical information for 2009 on criminal cases initiated for crimes qualified by the preliminary investigation as hate crimes in the Stavropol Territory.

At the end of May 2010, the Kurier newspaper reported on a conflict over a source in the village of Sorokino-Zhuki, Pushkinogorsk district, Pskov region. A few years ago, local residents built a chapel next to the well. In 2009, representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church, with the support of the district administration, decided to formalize the ownership of the chapel and the land adjacent to it, on which the well is located. This angered the villagers.

At the end of June 2010, it became known that the editor-in-chief of the Russian Transbaikal newspaper, the chairman of the council of the Chita regional department of the Union of the Russian People, Alexander Yaremenko, disappeared from court until the retrial of his case began. Recall that he was convicted in 2009 under Part 1 of Article 282, but in May 2010 he managed to get overturned the conviction .

On June 26, 2010, in St. Petersburg, near Palace Square, a group of young people tried to provoke a conflict with three women, mistaking them for participants in a gay pride parade. About a dozen teenagers, two of whom are girls, calling themselves "defenders of the Russian land", surrounded the women and began to threaten them. However, the teenagers were in no hurry to attack, inciting the girls from their company to start a fight.

On June 10, 2010, in Astrakhan, a criminal case was initiated against a 19-year-old local resident under Part 1 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (calls to carry out extremist activities). The young man is suspected of posting a text on the Internet between October 2009 and April 2010 containing " calls for national intolerance and discord with a demonstration of Nazi paraphernalia and symbols ." Unfortunately, we do not know what exactly was contained in the text.

In June 2010, directors were fined in St. Petersburg one of the local bookstores E. Zhukovsky. He was found guilty of distribution of extremist materials (Article 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation). The reason for the litigation was the free sale in in his bookstore, Valery Emelyanov's book "Jewish Nazism", recognized extremist and included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials (n. 475). The court fined E. Zhukovsky a thousand rubles.

Representatives of the "traditional" faiths of the Krasnodar Territory sent a letter to the deputies of the regional legislative assembly with a call to prevent the adoption of the upcoming amendments to the Federal Law "On Basic Guarantees of the Rights of the Child in the Russian Federation." The authors of the appeal fear that the adoption of these amendments will lead to interference of officials in the life of the family.

May 29-30, 2010 All-Russian the public opinion research center interviewed 1,600 people in 140 regions of Russia, finding out their opinion about the most important areas of life. Religion was on last place, it was named as the most important by 68% of the respondents.
