Authorities of 8 regions declared Radonitsa a non-working day
April 24, 2012, when the Orthodox celebrated Radonitsa - Day of Remembrance of the Dead was declared a holiday in eight Russian regions. This day was declared non-working by the authorities of the Krasnodar Territory, Bryansk, Volgograd, Kemerovo, Orenburg, Saratov regions, Adygea and Karachay-Cherkessia. The effect of the relevant decrees extended to organizations financed from the federal budget and budgets of subjects of the federation.
