On June 14, 2013, it became known that the Astrakhan diocese pretends to the building of Lyceum No. 3. Representatives of the diocese appealed to the mayor’s office with with a request to transfer this building to the Russian Orthodox Church, since until 1917 it housed the women's diocesan school. In case of transfer, the diocese plans to use this building for a school of additional education at John the Baptist male monastery.

On July 15, 2013, it became known that in the village of Monino A dummy explosive device was found in the Moscow region. It is reported that the dummy was found near the post office and was a cardboard shoe box with the inscription "Bomb for Russians. Die." When the police opened the box, there were four wooden bars, a brick, a battery, as well as two cartridges of different calibers - 7.62 mm. and 5.45 mm. Everything found in the box was wrapped with duct tape.
